Rebalance Your Energies
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as Tapping Therapy, was developed by Gary Craig in 1995. It integrates principles of ancient Eastern philosophy with modern psychology.
How it works
By tapping specific pressure points, EFT aims to balance the body’s energy system holistically, sending calming signals to the brain and body. This technique can help alleviate stress related to emotional or physical issues, whether past or present.
FAQs
What/who is the treatment beneficial for?
Nicky assists clients dealing with life’s challenges, helping them find ways to manage stress, cultivate a positive mindset, and achieve calm. She works with clients to process and transform emotional triggers, limiting beliefs, and sources of distress, whether these relate to current, past, or future concerns. Commonly addressed symptoms include anxiety, anger, grief, overwhelm, sleep issues, OCD, cravings, addictions, digestive problems, weight concerns, negative thought patterns, and trauma.
What should I wear for my treatment?
Clients remain seated during the session and are encouraged to wear comfortable, everyday clothing.
How often is treatment recommended?
A single session is usually sufficient for clients to learn EFT for personal use. However, if significant life issues are affecting the client, further sessions may be beneficial. These can be arranged weekly or fortnightly, either in person or via Zoom. Mindfulness techniques are often integrated into EFT sessions, or clients can book separate mindfulness sessions to deepen their understanding and practice.
How should I prepare for the treatment?
Clients are encouraged to approach the session with openness and a positive attitude, ready to learn valuable new techniques.
