Rebalance Your Energies
Naturopathy is a system of complementary medicine that uses a natural approach to health and wellness and works always with you as a person and not the disease. The aim of naturopathic therapy is to restore balance and aid the natural self healing abilities of the body. A wide range of tools are used to promote and maintain these mechanisms including good nutrition, physical therapy such as fascia release or reiki, lifestyle changes, stress management, naturopathic hydrotherapy and natural therapeutics (nutritional supplements, Bach flower remedies, tissue salts, homeopathic first aid). Depending on your health issues, we may also discuss functional testing such as stool tests or hormone tests.
How it works
Naturopathic treatments at Combe Grove are designed to support key physiological functions, such as digestion, detoxification, and circulation. Sessions are tailored to individual needs and may include:
- Abdominal Massage. For those experiencing digestive discomfort such as constipation or bloating, this technique is aimed at promoting healthy gut motility. The Practitioner utilises a combination of massage, breathing techniques, fascia release, and Reiki to relieve tension and support digestive function.
- Lymphatic Cleansing Massage and Castor Oil Pack. This treatment aims to enhance lymphatic circulation and liver function. The Practitioner performs specialised massage techniques to stimulate lymph flow, followed by the application of a castor oil pack to support detoxification.
Naturopathic Constitutional Hydrotherapy. This treatment uses alternating hot and cold applications to improve local circulation and immune function. Hot towels and cold linen are applied to the abdomen and lower back, encouraging circulation, oxygenation, and waste elimination. It is particularly beneficial for digestive issues, liver support, and lower back pain.
